THE WATCH
-Sydney Harbour Theatre

From the first nation people to the first settler, Sydney Harbour has always been the best place for living because of its unique terrain and massive natural resources. The floating theatre project is trying to create a place for entertaining and also engaging with the water and the site.
The people who live in Sydney absolutely love this harbour and do their best to protect this beautiful bay during World War I and World War II. Although these histories are slowly forgotten by the new generation over time, they are still scattered around Sydney Harbour waiting to be discovered. George’s head to middle head was an important military base, thanks to its special location and terrain. George’s head faces the entrance of the harbour to the east and a large civilian area to the west. After passing this place, it is the heart of the harbour which makes the location very special.
The designer discovered the military history of the harbour and was willing to turn these abandoned facilities into a new character. Rebirth of these buildings, not just the shelter hidden in the mysterious bushes. At the same time, it provides an opportunity for the residents of Sydney to understand the history of the place they live.
